China Scientific (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking a Service Technician to travel across Hong Kong to assemble, test, and commission instructional engineering systems, wind/flow sensors and power measurement gear at client sites such as universities and laboratories.
You will read circuit diagrams, use multimeters and meggers, perform on-site maintenance and component replacements, document every step with photos and notes, and support sales by answering technical questions.
Travel to client sites (universities, laboratories, institutions) across Hong Kong to assemble, test, and commission instructional engineering systems, wind/flow sensors, and power measurement gear. Expect 2-3 jobs a week.

Read circuit diagrams to isolate electrical or mechanical failures using multimeters, meggers (insulation testers), and diagnostic tools
Safely disassemble units, replace defective spare parts (touch screens, fans, motors, heating elements), and perform proper re-wiring
Conduct routine preventive maintenance inspections (checking doors, seals, mechanical fittings) and verify that system readings are within acceptable tolerances using calibrated reference instruments
Systematically document every stage of on-site work—capturing clear "before and after" photos of internal wiring, faulty/replaced components, serial numbers, and meter readings
Compile photographic evidence and technical notes into clear service reports upon job completion
Represent the company professionally on-site in company uniform attire
Review product manuals, wiring schematics, and technical documentation to stay updated on equipment lines
Assist sales colleagues by answering technical questions, verifying spare part numbers, and explaining technical features
Education: Certificate, Diploma, or Higher Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, or a related discipline.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in electromechanical equipment repair, field service, or electrical troubleshooting.
Certification: EMSD Registered Electrical Worker (REW) Grade A0 is highly preferred.
Technical Skills:
Proven ability to read and trace electrical circuit schematics independently.
Hands‑on proficiency with multimeters, meggers, wiring, crimping, and mechanical disassembly.
Solid diagnostic mindset for electromechanical components (incubators, calibration units, displays, motors, sensors).
Languages: Spoken Cantonese; working knowledge of English and Chinese to read technical manuals and write concise service logs.
