Job summary

Hang Seng Bank is seeking a Technical Product Lead, Data, to drive data engineering and analytics initiatives for Commercial Banking. You will oversee system development projects, coordinate teams in Hong Kong and China, and ensure solutions meet budget, schedule and quality targets.

The role requires strong data warehousing, SQL and Python skills, with Agile and DevSecOps experience. English and Chinese language proficiency is essential, plus a proactive, ownership-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science / IT / Data Science or a related discipline.
• 2+ years in a manager role with IT systems development and data projects.
• Proven experience in Data Warehouse, Data Engineering and Data Analytics.
• Strong SQL, Python, RDBMS, Cloud, ETL, Kafka and Data Visualization skills.
• Experience with AI-assisted developer tooling is a plus.
• Ownership mindset and customer service orientation.
• Ability to coordinate multi-location teams and communicate effectively.
