Job summary

CLSA is seeking an experienced Data Project Manager in Hong Kong to lead core client and product data systems and the next-generation data platform. You will drive requirements analysis, governance, and enterprise data solutions tailored for finance, ensuring timely delivery and robust data models across client, product, and trade data.

The role demands 10–15 years in data project management within banking/finance, strong SQL skills, and excellent communication in English; Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or above in IT/Computers or data-related field.
• 10-15 years in data project management, preferably in banking/finance.
• Strong understanding and modelling of financial product, client, and trade information.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills in English; Mandarin is a plus.
• Experience with data governance and BI analytics is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Focus on CSI core client and product system and next-gen data platform.
• Lead data projects from analyzing and designing user requirements for data systems.
• Strengthen platform offerings and implement data governance.
• Ensure enterprise data platform and applications meet timelines.
• Analyze data modeling and client data in an investment banking setting.
• Design unified data models for each class and solve data problems.
• Drive buildout of enterprise data solutions to fulfill business needs.
