Job summary

Vertiv (Hong Kong) Limited seeks an experienced electrical engineer to lead design proposals and tender submissions for critical infrastructure in Hong Kong. You will provide SME expertise on AC power solutions and guide client engagements across the sales cycle.

You will deliver professional presentations, oversee FAT/SAT, coordinate on-site functions including Testing & Commissioning, and ensure adherence to local standards while communicating in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Building Services or Electrical Engineering.
• 8+ years in critical power, UPS, or data center infrastructure.
• REW license held is preferred.
• Hands-on experience in installation/design/repair with REW for managerial roles.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Project and AutoCAD.
• Good command of Cantonese, Mandarin and English.

Job description

Lead the preparation of technical design proposals and comprehensive tender submissions for critical infrastructure.

Address complex customer inquiries and provide subject matter expertise (SME) for AC power solutions.

Deliver professional customer presentations, lead trade seminars, and manage new product launching events.

Coordinate and oversee Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) to ensure global standards are met.

Direct on-site activities including design implementation, installation, Testing & Commissioning (T&C), and ongoing maintenance.

Ensure all works meet Hong Kong electrical standards, including the preparation and submission of WR1 and WR2 forms.

Support sales teams by translating complex technical roadmaps into clear, high-value client solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree holder or above in Building Services or Electrical Engineering with major in heavy power electronics or electrical distributions

8+ years in critical power, UPS, or data center infrastructure preferred

Holding a Registered Electrical Worker (REW C0) license is preferred

Practical hands‑on experiences in installation/ design/ repairing and licensed REW for managerial positions

Self‑motivated team player, able to work independently, and willing to build relationship with people and customers

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Project and AutoCAD

Good command in Cantonese, Mandarin and English
