Responsibilities
- To lead the technical staff in preparation of conceptual and detailed designs, budget and technical specifications for power development projects
- To perform tender evaluations and make recommendations
- To perform check on documents/drawings submitted by contractors and monitor project progress
- To perform safety and quality control inspections, testing and commissioning and monitor the related site progress
- To liaise with internal parties, contractors and external parties including government authorities and public stakeholders on project matters and environmental, health and safety issues
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related disciplines with a minimum of 8 years’ relevant working experience and with Corporate Membership of the HKIE
- Familiar with relevant local and international regulations, procedures, standards and codes of practice
- Knowledge in project engineering, coordination and contract administration
- Experience in designs and implementations in at least one of the following areas:
- Generation system and associated HV/MV/LV electrical equipment
- EHV and HV systems for Transmission Network
- Holder of a valid class 1 and 2 driving license an advantage
- Proficient in computer applications including MS Office
- Good command of English and Chinese languages, both spoken and written
