Job summary

ADYRO Global Limited is seeking a senior technical footwear developer to own the integrity of lasts, patterns, fit, outsole and tooling. You will drive the production-ready design from concept to validated prototype, working with Head of Design & Development and factory partners.

Role requires hands-on expertise across the full technical path, strong independence, and the ability to solve production issues on-site in collaboration with Jinjiang partners.

Qualifications

• Experience with casual, comfort, premium or performance footwear.
• Strong knowledge of lasts, patterns, fits, outsoles, tooling and materials.

Job description

You will own the technical integrity of ADYRO footwear: lasts, fit, patterns, construction, outsoles and tooling, wear testing and industrialization. Your job is to make sure a promising design becomes a repeatable production shoe that feels as good as it looks.

You are the factory-side right hand of the Head of Design & Development. The desired outcome is direct: Dario or the Head provides an approved rendering and product intent; you select or correct the last, develop the pattern and construction, coordinate tooling and return a physical prototype ready for the next decision gate.

Key responsibilities

• Review and correct lasts, patterns, upper construction and bottom units
• Lead fit sessions, wear tests, grading review and technical sample comments
• Work directly with factories, last makers, mold shops and material and testing partners
• Validate tooling, material behavior, tolerances and production feasibility
• Diagnose root causes for quality or production failures and verify corrective actions
• Protect comfort and fit while meeting cost, weight and calendar constraints
• Follow approved styles through confirmation and production samples, not only the first development prototype
• Audit active lasts, fit issues, patterns, tooling and unresolved construction risks
• Define technical sign-off criteria and fit and wear-test records
• Build a repeatable technical handoff from design to factory and production quality control

About you

• At least five years of hands-on technical footwear development
• Commercial experience with casual, comfort, premium or performance footwear
• Strong last, pattern, fit, outsole, tooling, material and manufacturing knowledge
• Evidence of solving production problems physically at the factory, not only writing comments remotely
• Evidence of independence across the full technical path and authority to drive corrections
• Clear English; Mandarin is strongly preferred
• At least one meaningful tenure of roughly three years or two completed commercial seasons
• Practical access to Jinjiang, with higher presence during critical sample and tooling gates
• Premium, Italian, heritage or technically strong footwear experience is valuable, particularly with leather and sensitive materials
