• Minimum 6-8 years’ working experience in AI or Data Governance with some years in managerial level.
• Knowledge in AI/ Generative AI governance and/ or AI risk management.
• Strong stakeholder management and data/AI literacy.

Responsibilities

• Assist Section Head of AI & Data Governance to support the implementation and execution of integrated AI and Data Governance frameworks and ensure AI solutions are developed and used in controlled, compliant respect to bank’s standard and policy.
• Coordinate governance process across AI use case assessments, approvals and monitoring and ensuring alignment to regulatory expectations and bank’s standard.
• Provide operational oversight across AI lifecycles, support governance forums and drive continuous improvement to ensure AI related risks are effectively managed.
• Act as a mentor in coaching and developing team members.
• Lead the design, implementation, and improvement of integrated Data and AI governance frameworks, policies, standards, guidelines, and controls.
• Drive governance-by-design across data applications, ML, generative AI, AI agents, and other AI-enabled solutions.
• Coordinate governance and risk assessments covering accountability, data quality, privacy, cyber security, model risk, transparency, oversight, third-party risk, compliance, and resilience.
• Partner with Business, IT, Technology Risk, Cyber Security, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Privacy, and platform teams to set requirements and resolve governance issues.
• Maintain governance artefacts, registers, decisions, exceptions, risk and issue logs, and evidence for forums, assurance, audit, and regulators.

• Provides Operational oversight across AI lifecycles, support governance forums and drives continuous improvement to ensure AI related risks are effectively managed and support the enabling responsible adoption of AI.

• Translate strategy into roadmaps, operating models, governance priorities, delivery plans, and measurable outcomes.
• Prepare decision papers, dashboards, progress reports, and management materials.
• Prepare and facilitate governance forums with clear objectives, quality materials, documented decisions, ownership, and follow-up actions.
• Deliver communication, training, and awareness programs to strengthen Data and AI literacy, Responsible Use of AI awareness, and governance culture.
• Support data governance on data ownership, classification, metadata, lineage, quality, retention, and issue management.

Requirements

• University graduate in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Information Management or a related discipline
• Minimum 6-8 years’ working experience in AI or Data Governance of which a few years in managerial level, preferred from recognized establishments in financial services and/ or Fintech related industries
• Knowledge in AI/ Generative AI governance and/ or AI risk management
• Strong stakeholder management, data And AI literacy skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills including teamwork, facilitation and negotiation
• Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese + Mandarin)
