Job summary

Leadingnation in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced E&M T&C Lead for data centre or large-scale infrastructure projects. The role requires coordinating master schedules, overseeing testing, and liaising with clients and authorities to ensure successful handovers.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, 5–10 years of E&M T&C experience, and strong English/Chinese communication skills. Leadership and on-site guidance are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline (building services, electrical or mechanical).
• 5–10 years of E&M T&C experience with supervisory capability; data centre or large projects preferred.
• Fluency in English and Chinese, both written and spoken; able to liaise with clients and consultants.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the master T&C schedule, coordinating sequencing among all E&M subcontractors.
• Review and approve subcontractor test procedures, method statements and ITPs.
• Supervise stand-alone testing, integrated systems testing, and FAT/SAT.
• Coordinate joint inspections and handover walks with client, consultants and authorities (EMSD, FSD).
• Lead defect rectification tracking to close out items before handover.
• Compile and consolidate T&C reports, O&M manuals and as-built documentation.
• Coordinate BMS integration and testing with E&M subsystems.
• Manage the T&C team and assign on-site testing duties.

Education

• Review and approve subcontractor test procedures, method statements, and Inspection & Test Plans (ITP).
• Supervise and participate in stand-alone testing, integrated systems testing, and Factory/Site Acceptance Tests (FAT/SAT).
• Coordinate joint inspections and handover walks with the client, consultants, and statutory authorities (EMSD, FSD, etc.).
• Lead defect rectification tracking throughout the T&C phase to ensure all outstanding items are closed out prior to handover.
• Compile and consolidate T&C reports, Operation & Maintenance (O&M) manuals, and as-built documentation.
• Coordinate BMS integration and communication testing with all E&M subsystems.
• Manage the T&C team (engineers and technicians) and assign on-site testing duties.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Building Services / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5-10 years of E&M T&C experience, with a supervisory/leadership role is a plus.
• Proven T&C management experience on data centre or large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Solid knowledge of commissioning standards for HVAC, BMS/SCADA, UPS/generators, and fire protection systems.
• Experience with major E&M contractors is an advantage.
• Strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese; able to liaise independently with clients and consultants.
• Holder of Grade B0 or above Registered Electrical Worker certificate is a plus.
