BBVA is expanding its Talent & Culture presence in Asia. We are seeking an experienced, people-focused HR professional to move from reactive support to proactive business advisory, partnering with leaders and managers across the region.

The role emphasizes HR business partnering, talent management and employee lifecycle initiatives, with a strong focus on cross-border collaboration and data governance within Workday.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional HR experience, ideally combining HR Business Partnering or people advisory responsibilities with experience in business roles.
• Experience advising managers, handling complex people matters and working across international teams.
• Fluent English with excellent communication, stakeholder management and coaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise business leaders on people strategy, organizational challenges and workforce needs.
• Support talent acquisition, mobility and onboarding efforts across the region.
• Drive talent development, performance, engagement and diversity initiatives.
• Support talent reviews, succession planning and career development discussions.
• Improve employee experience and lifecycle management across the organization.
• Advise on employee relations, conflicts and disciplinary processes in coordination with relevant teams.
• Promote accurate HR data and governance of Workday processes.

Your impact

• Business & Manager Advisory: Advise leaders on people strategy, organizational challenges and workforce matters.
• Talent Acquisition, Mobility & Onboarding: Support workforce planning, recruitment, internal mobility and onboarding.
• Talent, Performance, Culture & Diversity: Drive talent development, performance, engagement and inclusion initiatives.
• Talent Review & Succession Planning: Support talent reviews, career development and succession planning.
• Employee Experience & Lifecycle Management: Improve employee experience and ensure effective execution across the employee lifecycle.
• Employee Relations & Risk Management: Advise on complex employee matters, workplace conflicts and disciplinary processes, in coordination with relevant teams.
• People Data & Workday Discipline: Promote accurate HR data, consistent Workday practices and effective process governance.

What you bring

10+ years of professional experience, ideally combining HR Business Partnering or people advisory responsibilities with experience in CIB business roles. We value candidates who understand both people management and business priorities. Strong knowledge of talent management, performance, career development and employee lifecycle processes. Experience advising managers, managing complex people matters and working across international teams. Excellent communication, stakeholder management and coaching skills, with fluency in English. An open, empathetic and collaborative mindset, strong judgment and a commitment to high standards.

Nice to have

• Banking experience, Workday knowledge and an executive coaching certification.
