Job summary

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with users, vendors, and dev teams to deliver digital banking initiatives.
• Gather and document business and system requirements.
• Liaise between business and technology teams through the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate security, architecture, infra and DevSecOps activities.
• Support all SDLC phases including SIT, UAT, deployment and post-production.
• Ensure governance, regulatory, security and audit compliance.

Project Nature

Support the delivery and modernization of digital banking platforms, including mobile banking, payments, and digital channels.

Duties

• Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to a leading bank
• Collaborate with business users, vendors, and development teams to deliver digital banking initiatives
• Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements
• Act as the key liaison between business and technology teams throughout the project lifecycle
• Coordinate with application, architecture, infrastructure, DevSecOps, and security teams to ensure successful solution delivery
• Support all phases of the SDLC, including requirements analysis, solution design, SIT, UAT, production rollout, and post-production support
• Review solution designs and facilitate technical discussions to ensure alignment with business, security, and regulatory requirements
• Support release planning, deployment activities, change implementation, and production readiness reviews
• Investigate production issues, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate remediation activities
• Ensure compliance with governance, regulatory, security, and audit requirements
• Contribute to application modernization, cloud adoption, and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related disciplines;
• Minimum 8 years of experience in system analysis, application delivery, or software engineering;
• Experience in banking, digital banking, payments, or financial services projects;
• Experience working with vendors and offshore development teams;
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and SDLC;
• Experience supporting business-critical or high-availability systems.

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of application architecture, system integration, APIs, and enterprise application delivery;
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps practices, automated testing, and release management;
• Understanding of application security principles, vulnerability management, and secure software development practices;
• Experience with source control and CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, or equivalent platforms;
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools;
• Knowledge of system performance, scalability, resiliency, and high-volume transaction processing;
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills;

Mobile Application Specialization

• Experience delivering mobile banking or digital channel solutions;
• Experience developing, supporting, or integrating native mobile applications (iOS and/or Android);
• Familiarity with Swift, Kotlin, React Native, Vue.js, or related technologies;
• Understanding of mobile application architecture, authentication, security controls, and API integration;
• Experience managing application packaging, code signing, deployment, and release processes for Apple App Store and Google Play Store;
• Familiarity with mobile CI/CD, automated build pipelines, mobile testing, and release governance.

Backend Platform Specialization

• Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and RESTful APIs;
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, or equivalent platforms;
• Experience with backend system integration and enterprise application delivery;
• Knowledge of distributed systems, event-driven architecture, and distributed transaction patterns (e.g., Saga);
• Experience with relational databases, Redis, Kafka, MQ, or similar technologies;
• Experience in microservices adoption and legacy application modernization.
