Job summary

Crossings Executive Search in Hong Kong is seeking a System Engineer to own Active Directory and Outlook email responsibilities on client site. You will monitor AD health, perform server maintenance, and implement upgrades to keep critical services running.

The ideal candidate has at least seven years of hands-on experience with AD, Exchange/SQL on Windows servers, and a proven ability to troubleshoot and liaise with vendors. This role requires a degree in IT and on-site work in Hong Kong.

Qualifications

SYSTEM ENGINEER - ACTIVE DIRECTORY (Ref: SE-AD/SL)

Our client is a well-known and reputable enterprise with well-established IT division over a hundred staff in Hong Kong, and they are currently seeking an experienced System Engineer to join their IT Windows Server team, primary responsible for looking after Active Directory (AD) and Email Outlook in client site. Ideal applicants should have solid AD experience in AD set-up, system implementation, administration and support, as well as practical troubleshooting and setting experience in client sided email system.

Responsibilities:

Check system and server healthiness and performance on daily basis

Perform system monitoring and tuning, system administration and support

Perform system set-up, upgrade or enhancements

Troubleshoot system incidents and is responsible for problem diagnostics and escalation to vendors

Requirements:

Degree holder in Information Technology or related disciplines

Minimum seven (7) years of solid experience in system set-up, implementation, administration and support in Active Directory and Email Outlook

Practical experience in troubleshooting, setting and configuring email systems with client-sided Outlook

Other experience with Microsoft servers such as Exchange, and /or SQL would be a plus
