Job summary

SinoPac Securities (Asia) Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a software developer to collect and document business requirements, analyze and develop software solutions across the lifecycle. You will code, test, and document according to standards, and collaborate with the project team and end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction.

You will provide ongoing support and maintenance to existing systems, with knowledge of back-office or settlement systems considered an advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• Proven experience in application development with back-office or settlement systems is an advantage.

Job description

Perform coding, unit testing and technical documentations according to system design and development standards.

Work closely with project team and end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction.

Provide support and maintenance to existing systems.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.

Proven experience in application development; experience with back-office or settlement systems is an advantage.

Technical Skills:

Strong proficiency in C#, Node.js, and React.js.

Solid experience with MSSQL and MySQL database design and optimization.

Familiarity with Linux environments for deployment and troubleshooting.

Hands‑on experience with Docker for containerization and application deployment.

Additional Knowledge:

Web development (C#, IIS, Node.js for backend) and web services.

Build automation and deployment tools such as Jenkins and GitLab.

Understanding of stock, futures, and OTC products.
