Hong Kong Life Insurance Limited is seeking a software developer in Hong Kong to join our IT team. The role covers system development, testing, implementation, maintenance support, documentation and user training for web and backend systems.
You will collaborate with the System Analyst on development projects, participate in ongoing support and enhancements, and assist with SIT/UAT to ensure requirements are met. Fresh graduates are welcome; bilingual Chinese/English skills are preferred.
Perform system development, testing, implementation, maintenance support, documentation and user training
Work with System Analyst for system development of the web application and backend systems
Participate in on-going system support & enhancement
Conduct SIT and support UAT to ensure the enhanced systems meet the requirement specifications
University Degree holder in Computer Science or IT related disciplines
1-3 years’ practical work experience in Information Technology; Demonstrated experience in Life Insurance and Employee Benefit Insurance is a definite asset
Good analytical mind and problem solving skills with a can-do attribute
Experience in Spring Boot, Hibernate, Node.JS, Vue.JS, Visual Basic, Crystal & Jasper Reporting tools will be an advantage
Knowledge in AIX/Linux, Websphere, Oracle, MS SQL, VB .Net/Visual Basic will be an advantage
Knowledge in modern front-end / mobile app frameworks (e.g. Angular.js, Vue.js, React/React Native, Flutter) will be advantage.
Good interpersonal, verbal and communication skills
Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English
Fresh graduated will also be considered
