Job summary

Hong Kong Baptist University is seeking an Assistant Guidance Services Manager in the Counselling and Development Section to lead mass programmes that support student adjustment, provide training and mentoring, and assist psychological counsellors with case-related support as needed.

The role emphasizes organising activities for student leaders and SEN students, developing workshops, and handling administrative planning for online courses and classroom activities.

Qualifications

• A recognised bachelor’s degree, preferably in psychology, counselling, social work, or education.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant post‑qualification work experience.
• Proficiency in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Strong experience in organising mass programmes and conducting workshops.
• Strong computer literacy to manage various online systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal and external parties to organise and deliver mass programmes, activities and workshops for student leaders and SEN students.
• Provide training, mentoring and guidance for student leaders and SEN students.
• Perform administrative duties to plan and organise the Centre’s classroom learning activities and online courses; and
• Conduct workshops on psychological competence.
