Job summary

Urban Renewal Authority 市區重建局 seeks an experienced architect-designer to lead district-based studies, feasibility assessments, and notional designs with a strong emphasis on stakeholder engagement. The role requires directing multidisciplinary teams and presenting compelling proposals to internal leadership and external audiences.

The successful candidate will possess a university degree in architecture or related fields and hold recognized professional qualifications.

Qualifications

• University degree in Architecture or related discipline.
• Recognized professional qualifications such as HKIA/HKIUD or RIBA are desirable.
• Excellent design, communication and presentation skills; able to convey complex ideas clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead district-based studies, PPFSs and technical feasibility studies to drive design excellence.
• Procure and manage multidisciplinary external consultants for planning studies and design options.
• Develop notional designs and technical assessments for assigned schemes and present to leadership and stakeholders.
• Engage proactively with government bureaus, district councils, academics and professional bodies to champion URA objectives.
• Prepare submissions and deliver presentations to committees and public audiences to secure support.
