Job summary

KOS International Talent Group's client, an FMCG/F&B brand, is seeking a Project Director to lead its project and facilities management department in Hong Kong. You will drive store development strategy, openings, relocations, renovations, and capital projects across the network while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The successful candidate should have a degree in Building Services, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related discipline, 15+ years of experience, and professional

Qualifications

• Degree in Building Services, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
• 15+ years of experience in construction, project management, facilities management, or retail development.
• Professional qualifications like CIOB, HKIE, CIBSE, IMechE, IET), RPE, REW Grade B/C, PMP, RSO are preferable.
• Experience managing multi-site retail portfolios.
• Strong leadership capability with responsibility for large-scale project budgets.
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Lead store development strategy, including new store openings and relocations.
• Manage store renovations, refurbishments, and capital improvement projects.
• Oversee repair and maintenance programs across the store network.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory, safety, and building regulations.
• Manage external consultants, contractors, suppliers, and service providers.
• Drive cost optimization and project execution excellence.
• Lead and develop a sizeable construction and facilities team.
