Job summary

Charterhouse Limited in Hong Kong seeks a Project Director - Store Development to lead end-to-end retail store projects across the region. You will oversee design, submissions, procurement and installation with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.

The role requires extensive experience in store development, strong leadership, and deep understanding of building management and energy efficiency practices to enhance store performance and customer

Qualifications

• Tertiary education in project management, engineering, construction or related disciplines.
• 15+ years of retail store development with regional project exposure.
• Knowledge of building management and energy efficiency practices preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Results-driven with initiative and business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Account for full spectrum of project management duties from inception to completion.
• Manage project pipeline from design, submissions, procurement to installation with internal/external stakeholders.
• Establish project controls and ensure timely management within parameter guidelines.
• Devise and roll out facility management initiatives that drive store performance and enrich customer journey.
• Review and monitor vendors' performances to promote quality excellence initiatives.
• Develop and maintain standards and procedures to ensure compliance.
• Work closely with business partners to understand daily operation needs.

Job description

We are now seeking for Project Director - Store Development.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Account for full spectrum of project management duties from inception to completion
• Manage project pipeline from design, submissions, procurement to installation with the support from both internal and external stakeholders
• Establish project controls and ensure the project is managed in timely manner within the parameter guidelines
• Devise and roll out facility management initiatives that drive store performance and enrich the customer journey
• Review and monitor the vendors' performances to promote the quality excellence initiatives
• Develop and maintain the standards and procedures to ensure strict compliance
• Work closely with business partners to fully understand the daily operation needs

QUALIFICATIONS

• Tertiary educated in Project Management, Engineering, Construction or related disciplines
• At least 15 years of retail store development experiences with proven track record in regional project exposures
• Sound knowledge in building management and energy efficiency practices is a definite advantage
• Excellent communications and organizational abilities
• Results driven, self-initiative and excellent business acumen
