Job summary

HTK in Hong Kong is seeking a Senior Purchasing Officer to manage sourcing activities, prepare RFQ/RFP documents, evaluate proposals, and select suppliers. You will negotiate terms, place orders and ensure timely delivery while maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications

Holder of Associate Degree or Degree holder in a relevant discipline.
1-2 years’ purchasing experience in a sizable organization.
Prior experience in IT & T procurement an advantage.
Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua).
Strong analytical, and negotiation and communicationskills.
Proficiency in PC application including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing.
Self-motivation, ability to work in teams and under pressure, and meeting tight deadline.

Responsibilities

Source activity including RFQ/RFP documents, evaluation of offers and supplier selection.
Ensure sources of supply are established by competitive means as appropriate.
Negotiate with suppliers for better terms and conditions.
Analyze and prepare commercial evaluation offers.
Place purchase orders to approved suppliers.
Communicate and work closely with relevant business units to understand requirements.
Expedite delivery of goods and deal with delivery/quality discrepancies.
