Job summary

The Hong Kong Jockey Club in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced membership and business development professional to drive sustainable growth and manage strategic partnerships. You will cultivate a high-quality prospect pipeline, engage corporate and luxury brand partners, and lead recruitment efforts at race meetings and lifestyle events.

You will ensure seamless membership applications, deliver exceptional member experiences, and coordinate events while upholding Responsible Gambling Policy

Qualifications

• University degree in business, marketing, hospitality, or related discipline.
• 6–8 years hands-on experience in sales and business development or hospitality at high-end membership-based organisations, 5-star hotel or financial institution.
• Experience in sales management and account management roles targeting HNWI/UHNWI demographics in Hong Kong.
• Experience in affiliated marketing and commercial partnerships.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive new Membership growth by executing strategies established by Racing Club Management and achieving both individual and team membership acquisition targets.
• Support the development and implementation of membership acquisition strategies to attract high-quality prospects; build and manage a strong prospect pipeline.
• Identify and pursue emerging market segments and new business opportunities to support sustainable membership growth.
• Establish and cultivate strategic commercial partnerships with corporations, family offices, financial institutions, professional associations, and luxury brands.
• Develop and execute ongoing acquisition campaigns and engagement programmes with strategic partners to drive membership growth and enhance brand visibility.
