Job summary

HKT is seeking a senior Business Planning and Analytics professional in Hong Kong to lead annual planning, budgeting, and forecasting. You will partner with stakeholders to ensure alignment with objectives and drive performance improvements.

You will analyze KPIs, generate actionable insights, and develop dashboards and reports for senior management, enabling informed decisions and strategic guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, data analytics, statistics, or related.
• Minimum 5 years in business planning, analytics, FP&A, strategy, or performance management.
• Strong understanding of eCommerce KPIs and business drivers (sales, acquisition, retention, conversion, profitability).
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis, and delivering actionable insights.
• Proficiency in Excel and BI tools; knowledge of SQL and digital analytics platforms is a plus.
• Strong analytical, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive the annual business planning process, including target setting, budgeting, and forecasting, in partnership with key stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Track revenue, cost, and key business KPIs against targets, conduct variance analysis, and identify risks, opportunities, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Apply data analytics to evaluate business performance, customer behavior, and market trends, translating findings into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
• Develop and maintain management reports, dashboards, and score card that provide timely, accurate, and meaningful visibility of business performance.
• Prepare business review materials and present performance updates, key trends, and strategic insights to senior management to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Enhance reporting efficiency through automation and analytics tools, while ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and adherence to reporting standards and governance requirements.
• Act as an internal AI ambassador, identifying opportunities to automate repetitive analytical tasks and upskill the broader team on AI-driven BI tools.
