Job summary

Leadingnation seeks a senior finance partner to lead budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term planning aligned with corporate goals. You will perform profitability and ROI analyses, advise business leaders, and drive financially informed decisions across cross‑functional initiatives.

With strong English and Cantonese, you will engage stakeholders, ensure robust controls, and contribute to monthly reviews, promoting continuous improvement in financial performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or above, major in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline
• Approximately five to eight years of progressive finance experience, including demonstrable business partnering with commercial or sales teams
• Strong command of financial planning, analysis and management reporting in a commercial environment
• Working knowledge of pricing and margin mechanics, and comfort supporting deal and tender decisions under time pressure
• Professional working proficiency in English and Cantonese; Mandarin is a strong advantage given the Greater China reporting line
• Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills, able to build bridges between people
• Hands on, pro‑active, solution driven, very accurate but with sense of big picture
• Profound understanding of accounting principles including Finance compliance requirements

Responsibilities

• Leads the financial planning process for assigned business units, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning
• Conducts complex financial analysis, such as profitability analysis, margin analysis, and ROI assessments
• Works with limited supervision and broad guidelines, applying independent judgment on significant matters
• Acts as a trusted advisor to business leaders by providing strategic financial insights and recommendations
• Collaborates with cross‑functional teams to evaluate financial impact of business initiatives
• Contributes to the monthly business review process by coordinating financial materials
• Evaluates investment cases including capex, R&D, and marketing initiatives
• Monitors financial health by tracking KPIs and identifying risks/opportunities
• Ensures compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements
• Leads or participates in initiatives to improve financial processes and systems
