Job summary

Deutsche Bank AG, Hong Kong Branch is seeking a Coverage Specialist for the Hong Kong & Mainland China region. You will develop business with Hong Kong investors, focusing on institutional clients such as insurers, central banks, and endowments, while selectively pursuing cross-border opportunities in Mainland China and Macau.

You will coordinate marketing materials, support onboarding and KYC processes, and work with internal stakeholders to strengthen capabilities for HK clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant qualification or work experience.
• At least 5 years of proven experience in Hong Kong's asset management industry with established relationships among institutional investors.
• Commercial acumen and a demonstrated ability to drive business growth.
• Strong understanding of Hong Kong institutional investors' investment needs, regulatory constraints, and operational requirements.
• Experience in client onboarding, due diligence, and KYC processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop business with Hong Kong investors, focusing on institutional clients such as insurers, central banks, endowments, corporations, and HK subsidiaries of international institutions.
• Pursue cross-border opportunities with eligible institutional investors in the Mainland China and Macau.
• Increase DWS's market share through strategic account planning and partnerships.
• Coordinate preparation and review of client pitches and marketing materials.
• Support client administration including onboarding, due diligence, and KYC requirements.
