Job summary

ALL-STAR AGENCY is seeking a proactive Global Banking Associate in Hong Kong to support the Head of Global Banking with client coverage across the full lifecycle, from origination to ongoing relationship management.

You will prepare for meetings, draft memos, gather market data, and assist with credit applications and KYC onboarding to ensure a smooth client journey. Strong English, detail orientation, and financial acumen are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Economics, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in corporate banking, structured finance, or client-facing roles.
• Strong credit sense and financial modelling skills.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required.
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and investigative skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Access.
• Control-minded with a systems-oriented mindset and collaborative team approach.

Responsibilities

• Support the Department Head in all aspects of client coverage, including preparing for client meetings, drafting call memos, and coordinating follow-ups.
• Gather and organise market intelligence, client background information, and industry data to support client engagement and business development.
• Assist in preparing credit applications, annual reviews, and KYC documentation to facilitate onboarding and renewals.
• Participate in client marketing presentations and pitches to prospective and existing clients; ensure materials are tailored and professional.
• Act as a key point of contact for client enquiries, ensuring prompt and accurate responses.
• Prepare financial spreads, conduct borrower research, and develop industry studies to deepen understanding of client needs and sector trends.
• Support the broader business development strategy of Global Banking, identifying cross-selling opportunities and new client prospects.
• Perform ad-hoc duties and additional responsibilities as assigned by Line Managers.
