Bank of China (Malaysia) Berhad is seeking a Corporate Communications Manager to lead media relations, craft strategic materials, and coordinate press events. You will work with senior stakeholders to strengthen the Bank’s reputation in a fast-paced financial services market.

Applicants should hold a university degree and have at least six years of corporate communications and media relations experience. Proficiency in English and Chinese is essential; Putonghua is a plus.

Qualifications

• University degree in Communications, Journalism, PR, or related field.
• At least six years of corporate communications and media relations experience.
• Proven ability to plan events and manage media programs.
• Excellent English and Chinese writing and editing skills; Putonghua is a plus.
• Strong multitasking and collaboration skills.

Responsabilités

• Formulate and execute media relations strategies, coordinate media interviews, press conferences and briefings; handling media inquiries; monitoring media and public sentiment relating to the Bank; and maintaining good media relations.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to develop and implement proactive corporate communication initiatives that enhance the Bank’s brand image and support key business objectives.
• Draft and edit communication materials, including press releases, annual reports and other corporate literature.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage corporate events and activities, including media events, stakeholder engagements and other strategic communication initiatives.
