Job summary

Cognizant seeks an experienced UX designer in Hong Kong to craft customer-centered strategies and compelling interfaces. You will work with clients, researchers and developers to translate insights into actionable UX solutions, from research through to visual design and prototyping.

You will design across web and mobile platforms, apply design thinking, run workshops, and define KPIs to validate success through iterative testing. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of UX design work experience.
• User-centered design and design thinking.
• UX/UI design skills across information architectures, wireframes and visual design.
• Prototyping and usability testing.
• Experience with agile environments and KPI-focused design decisions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with designers, researchers, consultants, developers, technology experts and internal business leaders.
• Communicate, present and collaborate with client stakeholders.
• Produce experience strategies, experience blueprints, customer journey maps, information architectures, UX flows, wireframes, UI designs and visual designs.
• Manage review and feedback to enable iterative production cycles.
• Attend and actively participate in required meetings.
• Create hypotheses based on analysis and map them to measurable KPIs for testing and verification.

• Collaborate with client and project team to develop CX & UX strategies and solutions that solve real customer/user problems, and help clients achieve their business objectives.
• Execute stakeholder interviews and design thinking workshop with business stakeholders to understand their business goals and devise strategies to achieve them.
• Design valuable and satisfying experiences on the cutting edge by utilizing human centric, agile methodologies.
• Collaborate with consultants, researchers and developers to build innovative services and technologies utilizing agile development methods and lean thinking.
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative research to gain insights into optimization opportunities
