Job summary

Delken Group Limited invites a Senior Designer (UI/UX) to join our innovation and technology team in Hong Kong. You will translate business requirements into engaging digital experiences, conduct user research, and deliver journeys, flows, wireframes, UI mock-ups and prototypes across platforms.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of UI/UX design experience, strong visual design skills, and proficiency with Sketch or Figma, InVision, Zeplin and the Adobe Creative Suite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Interactive/Multimedia/Visual Design or related discipline.
• Min. 3 years of UI/UX design experience across technical, retail, banking or financial industries.
• Experience in UI/UX design for mobile apps and loyalty programs.
• Strong knowledge of user-centric design, design language systems and interaction design.
• Proficient with Sketch/Figma, InVision, Zeplin and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript is an advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving, ownership, and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Translate user stories and requirements into digital experiences with stakeholders and the dev team.
• Lead user research activities such as interviews, surveys, usability testing and A/B testing.
• Deliver user journeys, flows, wireframes, UI mock-ups and prototypes for platforms.
• Develop pixel-perfect UI and ensure design consistency across platforms.
• Support testing after design implementation and address design issues with development.
• Present ideas to stakeholders and incorporate feedback.
• Manage external agencies for large-scale UI/UX revamps.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in Interactive / Multimedia / Visual Design or related disciplines;
• Min. 3 years of experience in UI/UX design, Interaction Design, preferably in technical, retail, banking and/or financial industries;
• Prior experience in UI/UX design of mobile apps and loyalty programs;
• A well-established knowledge in user centric designs, design language systems, visual design principles and interaction design;
• Highly proficient with design tools such as Sketch/Figma, InVision, Zeplin, and Adobe Creative Suite;
• Basic knowledge of programming (HTML/CSS & Javascript is an advantage);
• Excellent problem-solving skills, strong sense of ownership, self-motivated, able to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment;
• Must be proactive to learn and explore new design trends, technologies and tools;
• A design portfolio with proven work is an advantage; and
• Good command of verbal and written Chinese and English.
