Job summary

Harlan’s Bar & Restaurant in Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong, seeks a Sous Chef to uphold high Western and continental cuisine standards and to lead the kitchen team in daily operations.

With at least 3 years of experience (fine dining preferred), you will help design seasonal menus, control costs, train staff, and coordinate with front-of-house to ensure a seamless guest experience. The role offers collaboration, growth, and competitive benefits.

• At least 3 years of experience; western/fine dining experience preferred.
• Proactive and eager to learn; strong team spirit.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality.
• Lead the kitchen team to maintain daily kitchen operations.
• Develop seasonal menu.
• Assist in calculating food costs.
• Assist in managing and training the team.
• Assist with staffing and scheduling.
• Maintain a clean and comfortable kitchen environment.
• Maintain good communication with front-of-house and kitchen staff.
