Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking an experienced architecture leader to drive design, development and delivery of enterprise solutions. You will lead teams of solution architects to create cohesive proposals and deliverables that meet customer objectives and timelines.

You will translate business needs into technical roadmaps, guide technical delivery and align with commercial engagements. Strong leadership, communication and cloud/DevOps experience are essential.

Job description

Demonstrate outstanding English business writing skills, with proven experience developing executive proposals, tender responses, and customer-facing solution documentation for large and complex pursuits, including the ability to communicate complex technical solutions in a clear, compelling, and commercially relevant manner.

Work as part of a high performing team to respond to customer requests for quotation and RFP/RFI responses for high value opportunities. Responsible for design, development and integration of DXC’s Consulting & Engineering Services (CES) solutions for external customers to meet their business needs including technology, software, applications, service delivery and commercial aspects. Serves as trusted advisor to internal and/or external customers for understanding the business/technical problem/need, translating them to business outcomes, shaping and/or validating requirements and scope for the solution.

Serves as a technical expert on solutions design, development, and implementation requirements to address customers business needs. Possesses analytical and problem-solving skills as well as a strong understanding of the capabilities that DXC and our technology partners provide.

Responsible for sizing and costing of the architected solution. Responsible for documenting the solution and governing it internally for its deliverability. Responsible for aligning the commercial aspects of customer engagement (SOWs, project plans etc.) with the technical delivery solution. Responsible for presenting the solution to the customer and serve as trusted advisor to establish customer confidence.

Job Description

Essential Job Functions:

• Manage and lead architecture projects within DXC’s Consulting & Engineering Services (CES) portfolio, ensuring they meet customer objectives and timelines
• Individually develop or lead a team of solution architects to deliver technical solutions that meet customer requirements, deliver verifiable customer value and align with CES portfolio offerings
• Collaborate as part of a team led by a Multi-Line Solution Architect to develop cohesive end to end customer solutions integrated with all parts of DXC’s solution portfolio
• Translate customer’s business objectives and challenges into solution opportunities leveraging DXC’s technical capabilities
• Provide technical guidance for architecture projects, helping to resolve complex issues
• Evaluate and recommend technology solutions aligned to CES portfolio offerings that enhance efficiency and business goals
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical internal and external stakeholders
• Oversee the successful completion of architecture projects and report on progress

Experience:

• Typically, 7+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role with a technology or managed services provider
• Demonstrated experience in technology leadership in high value engagements within complex enterprise environments
• Demonstrated experience in development of solution strategy, solution description and solution costing for pre-sales engagements and RFP/RFI responses
• Exceptional proposal development, written and oral skills
• Prior engagement at senior client technical team level (e.g. Client Technical Lead, Chief Architect, Chief Technologist etc.) in a consultative or solutioning capacity
• Demonstrate strong expertise in at least one enterprise technology domain and industry, while also understanding broader DXC CES offerings, market trends, and emerging technologies
• Experience in developing solutions in an enterprise environment within the Hong Kong or Greater China market, previous experience working with Hong Kong Government or Hong Kong Airport highly desirable

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Experience with Agile, DevOps, DevSecOps, AI DevOps and SDLC concepts

Highly Desirable Skills:

• Experience in domain-specific architecture or industry solutions (e.g., Mining, Oil & Gas, Utilities, Manufacturing, Automotive, Banking & Financial Services, Retail, Life Sciences & Hospitality)
• Relevant certifications in architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or Open Certified Architect (Open CA)
• Cloud-specific architect certifications (e.g. AWS, Azure, Tencent, Alibaba, Google Cloud etc.)
• Continuous learner that stays abreast with industry and technology developments such as Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) and how to apply these in our customers enterprise environment
• Familiarity with iPaaS solutions (Boomi, Mulesoft, SAP Integration Suite, etc.)
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) preferred
• Understanding of API design and lifecycle management capabilities
• Ability to develop and maintain technology roadmaps aligned to architectural principles, tied to business strategy and measurable outcomes
