Job summary

Huawei in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced network solutions architect to design end-to-end L2/L3 infrastructures and lead PoCs and pre-sales activities.

You will work with IT Sales to gather requirements, validate routing, MPLS, QoS, IPv6, and deliver design docs, BoMs, and bid responses. Strong collaboration with product management and engineering is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communication/Electronic/CS or related field.
• 5+ years in network products (Switch/Router, WiFi, security, LAN/WAN/SD-WAN).
• Knowledge of routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, VRRP, MPLS, IPv6.
• Experience in pre-sales: presentations, PoCs, proposals, tenders.
• Certifications in networking are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with IT Sales to capture clients' technical needs and design solutions.

Job description

• Working closely with the IT Sales team to discover clients' technical needs, perform requirements gathering, and solution design for L2/L3 network infrastructures
• Design end-to-end network architectures using Huawei network products (Enterprise Switch & Router, WiFi, Network Security products, etc.), ensuring technical advancement and commercial viability.
• Design and validate routing solutions using VRRP, OSPF, IS-IS, BGP (incl. eBGP/iBGP), MPLS (L2/L3 VPNs, TE/SR-MPLS), QoS, multicast, and IPv6.
• Lead PoCs, lab validations, and network pilots; create test plans, success criteria, and reports.
• Own RFP/RFQ responses, solution write-ups, BoMs, sizing, compliance matrices, and bid defense.
• Deliver technical presentations, whiteboards, and workshops to technical and executive audiences.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Communication Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years' experience in network products (Switch/Router, WiFi, Network Security Product, LAN/WAN/SD-WAN, etc.)
• With good knowledge of networking/routing protocols, such as BOSPF, BGP, VRRP, MPLS, SIP, BICC, GTP, etc.
• With experience in engaging in pre-sales activities, such as technical presentations, POC, proposal writing, tendering, etc.
• Holder of network certificates(HCIA/HCIP/HCIE/CCNA/CCNP/CCIE) is a plus
• Excellent collaboration skills with a wide variety of people (product management, engineering, marketing)
