ST Engineering Hong Kong is seeking a passionate Software Engineer to contribute to 3D simulation and immersive technologies within our Training & Simulation Systems unit. We are looking for a passionate and driven Software Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge software solutions, with a focus on 3D simulation and immersive technologies. Participate in the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering and design through to implementation, testing, and deployment.
Develop, maintain, and optimize software applications using C++ and/or C#.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and build 3D simulation and interactive applications.
Contribute to the development and integration of features within Unity and/or Unreal Engine environments.
Support the creation of immersive 3D and XR (Extended Reality) experiences, including VR, AR, and MR applications.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in accordance with established engineering standards.
Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects in a timely manner.
Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends relevant to simulation and interactive media.
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; candidates with 1–2 years of relevant experience are preferred.
Foundational understanding of Software Engineering principles and familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Proficiency or working knowledge of C++ and/or C#.
Familiarity with Unity and/or Unreal Engine, and an understanding of 3D simulation technologies.
Good to have:
Experience in developing game engines or game logic.
Hands-on experience in building immersive 3D and XR (VR/AR/MR) applications.
Familiarity with distributed simulation platforms such as VR-Forces or VBS (Virtual Battlespace).
Exposure to real-time rendering, physics simulation, or spatial computing concepts.
