Job summary

ST Engineering Cloud and Data Centre Solutions Pte Ltd is seeking a Project Engineer to join the Project Management Team. This role requires a collaborative team player who can support project teams, Project Managers, and subject matter experts.

You will manage project execution activities, provide post-installation support to Facilities Management, and deliver pre-sales technical consultation to clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret 2D technical drawings.
• Experience in developing T&C procedures and scripts.
• Experience working with BMAS or BMS.
• Knowledge of project planning and system implementation.
• Experience in post-installation support and handover activities.
• Ability to coordinate with stakeholders, contractors, and subject matter experts.

The Project Engineer is an integral member of the Project Management Team. This role requires a strong team player who can work collaboratively with colleagues and provide essential support to project teams, Project Managers, and other subject matter experts.

Key responsibilities include managing assigned project execution activities, providing post-installation support to the Facilities Management Team, and delivering pre-sales technical consultation to clients and stakeholders. As each project presents unique requirements and challenges, the Project Engineer is expected to apply lessons learned and best practices to continuously improve project delivery and contribute valuable knowledge for future projects.

Be Part of Our Success

• Ability to read and interpret 2D technical drawings, including:

  • Architectural drawings

  • Structural drawings

  • Single-Line Diagrams (SLD)

  • Air-Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation (ACMV) drawings

  • Combined Services Drawings (CSD)

• Ability to prepare written descriptions of assigned trade scopes of work, including:

  • Building works

  • ACMV systems

  • Electrical systems

• Experience in developing Test and Commissioning (T&C) procedures and scripts, documenting test results, and verifying compliance with design specifications and project requirements.
• Experience working with Building Monitoring and Automation Systems (BMAS) or Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Knowledge of project planning and system implementation, including:
• Point schedule preparation
• Signal categorization and I/O allocation
• Hardware sizing and selection
• Data collection and network architecture design
• System deployment and integration
• Knowledge of communication networks and protocols used in building automation systems, such as BACnet, Modbus, TCP/IP, and related industrial communication technologies.
• Experience in post-installation support, troubleshooting, system optimization, and handover activities to Facilities Management teams.
• Ability to coordinate with stakeholders, contractors, consultants, and subject matter experts to ensure successful project delivery and compliance with project specifications.
