Job summary

MEDs Technologies Pte Ltd in Hong Kong seeks a data entry clerk to input information from source documents into our system, ensuring accuracy and data integrity for shipping and logistics workflows.

The role involves preparing and verifying documents such as Delivery Orders, Invoices, Packing Lists, and Bills of Lading, and coordinating with forwarders and warehouse teams to support operations.

Qualifications

• ITE or GCE N level or equivalent.
• Preference for logistics or manufacturing experience.
• Proficient in MS Office; SAP Business One a plus.
• Accurate keyboard skills and fast data entry.
• Strong planning, organization, and attention to detail.
• Good problem solving and communication abilities.
• Able to work under pressure and to OT when required.

Job description

Enter data from various source documents into the computer system for storage, processing and data management purposes.

Job Descriptions

• Prepare, compile and sort documents for data entry in order to comply with data integrity and security policies.
• Check source documents for accuracy, verify data and correct data where necessary
• Obtain further information for incomplete documents
• Respond to requests for information and access relevant files
• Minimum knowledge in preparing full set of shipping documents and permit declaration e.g. Delivery Order, Invoice, Packing List, Goods Receipt, Certificate of Origin, Certificate of Conformance, Bill of Lading etc.
• Liaise with the forwarders and shipping agents on the local outgoing shipments and export arrangement.
• Work cohesively with Customer Service and Warehouse personnel.

Requirements

• Minimum ITE or GCE “N” level.
• Preference to be given to candidates with experience in logistics or manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in relevant computer applications such as MS Office, SAP Business One would be added advantage.
• Accurate keyboard skills and proven ability to enter data at the required speed.
• Planning and organizing; attention to detail.
• Problem solving, decision‑making skills, communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Perform OT when required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
