Job summary

Chief Group Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a detail‑oriented professional to perform daily settlement and clearing of securities across HK and overseas markets via CCASS and DCASS. You will manage end‑to‑end transaction processing, client instructions, and ensure timely, compliant settlements.

The role involves fund deposits/withdrawals, client onboarding, trade matching, position reconciliation, and contributing to system enhancements, with strong English and Cantonese/Putonghua communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Admin, Operations Management or related field; tertiary education considered.
• Senior Executive level for more experience.
• Knowledge of CCASS and DCASS operations and HKEX/SFC regulations a plus.
• Experience in equities, fixed income, mutual funds and derivatives settlement is advantageous.
• Detail-oriented with good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English and Chinese (Cantonese & Putonghua); strong team player in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Verify and process client fund deposits or withdrawals promptly and accurately.
• Handle client account opening procedures and onboarding documentation verification.
• Assist in trade matching, position reconciliation, and resolving discrepancies.
• Support system enhancement projects and operational workflow improvements.

Job description

Perform daily settlement and clearing of securities transactions in Hong Kong and overseas markets, including equities, futures, options, and bonds via CCASS & DCASS

Participant in end-to-end financial operations, including transaction processing, account enrollment, reconciliation, and settlements, ensure all instructions from clients are timely and efficiently executed in compliance

Verify and process client fund deposits or withdrawals promptly and accurately, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements

Handle client account opening procedures, including documentation verification, compliance checks, and system input to ensure smooth onboarding

Assist in trade matching, position reconciliation, and resolving discrepancies to ensure accurate client holdings and transaction records

Support system enhancement projects and operational workflow improvements

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field; Candidates with tertiary education will also be considered

Candidates with more experience will be considered as Senior Executive

Proficient knowledge of CCASS and DCASS operations and relevant HKEX and SFC regulations is a PLUS

Experience in handling equities, fixed income, mutual funds, and derivatives settlement is an advantage

Detail-oriented with good communication and problem-solving skills

Good command of spoken and written in English and Chinese (Cantonese & Putonghua)

Able to adapt to a fast-paced environment and work well within a team
