Job summary

Chief Group Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a Trading Operations Support professional to assist daily US equity and derivative trading, execute orders, monitor positions, and handle client orders with precision.

You will monitor risk exposure, perform margin call actions as needed, track market movements, and provide timely product insights while maintaining strong client relationships through responsive service. Fixed shifts with night coverage are offered, including a shift allowance.

Qualifications

• Higher diploma or above in Finance/Investment related disciplines preferred.
• Holder of SFC RA 1,2 or eligible to be registered.
• Good knowledge of equity and derivatives and experience in margin call handling.
• Customer oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Mature, fast response and able to work under pressure; high initiative, accuracy and patience.
• Good command of spoken Chinese, Cantonese and Putonghua.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations of US equity/derivative trading: trade execution, order monitoring, and client order handling.
• Monitor clients’ trading positions and risk exposure; execute margin call actions when necessary.
• Track market movements, trading limits, and client margin requirements to ensure compliance with risk policies.
• Present information on stocks and derivatives products to customers with timely updates and insights.
• Assist in collecting and analyzing market information, and help formulate trading strategies.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships by addressing queries and providing high-quality service.

Job description

Support the daily operations of US equity/derivative trading, including trade execution, order monitoring, and client order handling

Monitor clients’ trading positions and risk exposure; execute forced liquidation (margin call actions) when necessary to control trading risk

Track market movements, trading limits, and client margin requirements to ensure compliance with internal risk management policies

Present information on stocks and derivatives products to customers; providing timely updates and product insights

Assist in collecting and analyzing market information, formulating trading strategies

Build and maintain strong client relationships by addressing queries and providing high-quality service

Fixed shift arrangement; openings available for both middle and night shifts (shift allowance granted for both middle and night shift)

Requirements:

Higher diploma or above (Finance / Investment related disciplines are highly preferred)

Holder of SFC RA 1,2 or qualifies to be registered

Good knowledge of equity and derivative and with experience in margin call handling

Customer oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Mature, Fast response and able to work under pressure

High level of initiative, accuracy and patience

Good command of spoken Chinese, both Cantonese AND Putonghua
