Job summary

Jardine Engineering Corporation (JEC) is seeking a senior service operations manager in Hong Kong with 8-10 years in service operations and maintenance management. You will lead and develop field service teams, manage generator and fuel-system contracts, ensure SLA compliance, and drive continuous improvement across projects.

The role requires strong leadership, customer-focused communication and the ability to prepare quotations and support tender submissions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or related discipline.
• 8-10 years of experience in service operations, maintenance or engineering services management.
• Proven experience in managing maintenance contracts and service operations.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Experience with generator and fuel systems or E&M service operations preferred.
• Familiar with SLA management, contract administration and quotations.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing service operations and maintenance contracts for generator and fuel systems.
• Leading and supervising service engineers and technicians to ensure safe and effective execution of works.
• Monitoring service quality, contractual compliance, and SLA performance.
• Planning manpower deployment, maintenance schedules, and emergency response activities.
• Managing client relationships and addressing operational issues and customer complaints.
• Preparing quotations, technical proposals, and supporting tender submissions.
• Driving operational efficiency, safety performance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinating with internal departments, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely project and service delivery.
• Supporting business development activities and identifying opportunities for service growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience in service operations, maintenance, or engineering services management.
• Proven experience in managing maintenance contracts, service operations, and field service teams.
• Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to lead and motivate service engineers and technicians.
• Experience in generator systems, fuel systems, power generation equipment, or E&M service operations is highly preferred.
• Familiar with SLA management, customer service management, and contract administration.
• Experience in preparing quotations, technical proposals, and supporting tender submissions.
• Holder of REW and Construction Safety Green Card is preferred.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, with Cantonese proficiency preferred.
