Job summary

Private Advertiser, headquartered in Hong Kong, seeks a Senior Vice President to oversee core business development and high-level client strategies across the PRC. Based in Hong Kong with frequent travel between PRC and Hong Kong, you will mentor teams, advise key clients, and drive growth initiatives across digital platforms and cross-border markets.

Ideal candidate has 10+ years in corporate management and marketing, strong BD leadership in PRC, and fluency in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in corporate management and marketing, with at least 5 years serving in senior management roles.
• Deep, proven experience successfully leading teams and driving Business Development (BD) in the PRC, with strong familiarity with PRC business and corporate culture.
• Proven leadership in managing strong teams and client servicing.
• Deep knowledge of PRC leading digital platforms including XHS, WeChat, Weibo, Douyin and emerging platforms.
• Strong leadership presence and business negotiation skills.
• Fluency in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English.
• Team management experience in the PRC and readiness to travel.
• Able to adapt to a cross-border work rhythm requiring frequent travel to and from the PRC.

Responsibilities

• Participate in macro-strategic planning, formulate and execute business growth strategies across the PRC, leading the acquisition of high-value institutional clients and strategic partners.
• Report directly to senior management and stakeholders.
• Manage and mentor local and PRC teams, optimize cross-border collaboration mechanisms, and enhance overall operational efficiency.
• Serve as a strategic advisor for key clients, providing high-caliber decision support, risk management, and long-term relationship maintenance.
• Orchestrate and advance communication mechanisms between enterprises, investors, and capital market stakeholders to refine strategic positioning.
• Establish and manage PRC-specific digital platforms across XHS, WeChat, Weibo, Douyin and emerging platforms.
• Identify and develop business opportunities within the unique ecosystem of social marketing, the influencer and KOL economy and e-commerce in the PRC.
• Identify any possibility of crisis occurrence across global and regional levels, lead the team to execute ad-hoc management with the alignment of client and stakeholders.

About the role

As Senior Vice President, you will fully oversee core business development and high-level client strategies across the PRC. You will participate in macro-strategic planning, formulate and execute business growth strategies, manage and mentor local and PRC teams, serve as a strategic advisor for key clients, and orchestrate communication mechanisms between enterprises, investors, and capital market stakeholders. Based in Hong Kong, you will travel frequently between the PRC and Hong Kong to align with business development and team management needs.
