Job summary

AXA Hong Kong and Macau is seeking a seasoned health underwriting administrator to screen applications, check profiles, and consolidate data for risk assessment. You will support underwriting letters, review documents, and liaise with internal teams to ensure accurate decisions.

The role requires at least 5 years in policy administration or health insurance, strong analytical skills, and meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare management, business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in policy administration or health insurance industry.
  • Knowledge of insurance regulations, industry practices and underwriting/new business administration preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in health underwriting process, which includes screening applications, conduct profile checking, consolidate information for underwriting cases to underwriters for risk assessment, communicate underwriting decision with other departments as needed
  • Manage administration process for underwriting cases, review underwriting letters for accuracy and completeness
  • Collaborate with business team, respond to hotline and email enquiries from internal and external customers
  • Reconcile underwriting cases related transactions, and work with clinics/network team to resolve discrepancies
  • Assist to extract product documentations and review policy contracts, provisions, product specs etc.
  • Support standardization of policy terms and conditions, system development projects and other enhancement initiatives
  • Maintain accurate policy/underwriting records and ensure data integrity
  • Assist with facilitating business continuity, including training and mentoring junior staff
  • Other tasks or duties as assigned by management
