Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree; at least 6 years underwriting experience in life insurance with ≥2 years in a supervisory role.
• Underwriting medical authority of not less than extra mortality 50%; high net worth experience preferred.
• Strong integrity, quality orientation, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent English and Chinese communication; Putonghua helpful.
• Leadership and team-building capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to underwriting core system development and rule engine.
• Collect and analyze information from underwriting perspective to prepare user requirements.
• Manage project timelines and ensure timely delivery of projects.
• Liaise with users, IT and vendors to design and enhance business solutions.
• Perform UAT and end-user training; support production issues.
• Analyze underwriting data to identify trends and make data-driven recommendations.
• Perform underwriting risk assessments within delegated authority for compliant decisions.
• Collaborate with legal, compliance, IT, product and reinsurers on new initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
