Hong Kong Life Insurance Limited is seeking an experienced Life Insurance Underwriter to conduct comprehensive underwriting assessments for medical and non-medical applications. You will ensure all decisions comply with internal guidelines and statutory regulations, and assist in refining underwriting manuals and practices.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of solid underwriting experience in life insurance, with strong English, Cantonese and Mandarin communication.

Conduct comprehensive underwriting assessments on both medical and non-medical insurance applications to evaluate the risk levels of applicants

Ensure all underwriting decisions strictly comply with company guidelines, internal risk standards, and statutory insurance regulations

Assist in reviewing and revising internal underwiring manual, guidelines and practices

Manage project timelines and progress, and ensure the quality and timely delivery of assigned projects

Provide underwriting service and support to distribution channels, branches and internal departments concerning underwriting area

About you

Bachelor's degree holder,

Minimum 4 years solid underwriting experience in life insurance

Good integrity, quality-oriented, good interpersonal and communications skills

A solution thinker, strong analytical skills and independent

Open-minded, flexible, proactive and stressed positive

Proficiency in using MS Officer (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)

Good command of written and spoken English and Cantonese, proficiency in Mandarin
