Job summary

Bank of Communications Co., Ltd. Hong Kong Branch is seeking a senior Treasury Transaction Settlement professional to monitor trade support, review collateral management, and ensure regulatory reporting for a range of treasury products.

The role requires extensive experience in banking, strong knowledge of SWIFT and RTGS, and excellent English/Chinese communication. The successful candidate will advise management on settlement issues, handle front desk inquiries, and contribute to ad-hoc

Qualifications

• Degree holder in related discipline or equivalent qualifications at HKQF level 5, with minimum 10 years’ relevant experience in banking industry
• Sound knowledge of treasury products (e.g. FX, MM, BOND, IRS); knowledge of OTC derivatives is preferred
• Sound knowledge in SWIFT, RTGS and Good PC skills including MS Word, MS Excel and Chinese Word Processing
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, fluency in Putonghua is an advantage
• Good interpersonal skills, teamwork, independent and proactive
• ECF achievement is the definite advantage

Responsibilities

• Monitor the trade and operation support of various treasury products
• Review the collateral management by preparing relevant reports, monitoring the status of margin calls and preparing collateral movement for certain products
• Review transaction reporting according to regulatory requirement
• Advise senior management and relevant business units on settlement issues
• Manage the inquiries from front desk, counterparties and clients
• Assist in any ad-hoc duties and projects
