Job summary

Bank of Communications Hong Kong Branch is seeking a Section Head to oversee treasury transaction settlement, monitor trade verification, and support collateral management activities for a range of treasury products. You will ensure accurate margin monitoring and collateral movement, and review regulatory reporting.

The role requires a HKQF Level 5 degree and at least five years in banking, with strong knowledge of FX, money market instruments, bonds, IRS, and OTC derivatives.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in related discipline or equivalent qualifications at HKQF level 5; minimum 5 years’ relevant banking experience.
• Experience with treasury products (FX, MM, BOND, IRS) and OTC derivatives is preferred.
• Proficient with SWIFT and RTGS; strong PC skills including MS Word and MS Excel; Chinese word processing.
• Strong written and spoken English and Chinese; Putonghua is a plus.
• Good interpersonal skills, teamwork, initiative and independence.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the trade verification and operation support of various treasury products
• Review collateral management by preparing reports, monitoring margin calls and collateral movements
• Review transaction reporting to comply with regulatory requirements
• Participate in systems development and testing when needed
• Handle inquiries from front desk, counterparties and clients
• Assist in ad-hoc duties and projects
