Job summary

CL Technical Services Ltd. in Hong Kong is seeking a Senior Officer / Senior Associate / Assistant Manager (Treasury operation) to perform day-to-day treasury settlement operations for FX/MM, Fixed Income, Derivatives and Options.

You will handle pre- and post-trade verification and settlement, AML screening, cheque issuance, and daily/monthly reporting, while coordinating with relationship managers and contributing to system enhancements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of treasury settlement and payment operations experience.
• Knowledge of regulatory reporting obligations such as Trade Repository, Clearing & Record Keeping Obligations and SPM Margin.
• Experience with SWIFT, CHATS, CMU, HKTR and Euroclear Easyway.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; fluent in English and Chinese; Putonghua is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day treasury settlement operations for FX/MM, Fixed Income, Derivatives and Option transactions.
• Handle pre- and post-trade verification and settlement.
• Liaise with relationship manager/customer for disposal instruction of maturing processing in terms of payment execution.
• Handle cheque issuance.
• AML payment screening and escalation.
• Handle pre and post settlement exception cases and investigation.
• Prepare and reconcile daily & monthly reports.
• Participate in bank-wide system enhancement, new product implementation, workflow review, ad-hoc assignments and the relevant UATs.
• Respond to both internal and external clients inquiries timely and investigate issues as necessary.
• Review and update procedure manual regularly in accordance with bank practice.
• Coordinate with team head in reengineering projects for continuous process improvement.
