Job summary

Major Bank in Hong Kong is seeking a Senior Settlement Manager (Treasury Operations) to own daily treasury settlements, control execution and related reporting on a high-volume platform.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in banking, with 3+ years in a supervisory role, and strong knowledge of treasury products, settlement flows and risk management. English and Chinese fluency are required for cross‑unit collaboration.

Qualifications

• More than 5 years banking experience with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role within treasury operations or similar settlement functions.
• Strong understanding of treasury products and their end-to-end settlement flows.
• Knowledge of bank policies, procedures and rules, with risk awareness and operational risk frameworks.
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day treasury settlement activities, ensuring accuracy and timely regulatory/intern al reports.
• Lead settlement-related projects, including system upgrades and workflow changes, tracking budgets, timelines and risks.
• Collaborate with front-line units, IT and stakeholders to coordinate testing and implementations and resolve issues promptly.
• Safeguard data integrity and process consistency in treasury systems, driving process improvements for efficiency and control.
• Manage and develop team members, set expectations, review performance and promote engagement through communication.
• Champion compliance with regulatory and risk-management requirements within the bank's risk framework.
