Senior Transaction Advisory Analyst – Due Diligence & Valuation

Job summary

Acclime is seeking a diligent financial due diligence analyst to review historical and current trading performance, identify key drivers and risks, and prepare clear findings for valuation discussions with management.

You will coordinate with deal teams, assess liabilities, prepare reports and information memorandums, and support the creation of deal materials. Willingness to travel to client sites is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related discipline.
• At least two years of relevant experience in financial due diligence, transaction advisory, audit or consulting.
• HKICPA or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Sound knowledge of accounting standards, exposure to valuation concepts and HK Listing Rules advantageous.
• Strong analytical capabilities to analyse financial statements and identify earnings and working capital trends.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of business, industry and economic issues.
• Excellent written communication, presentation and stakeholder-management skills.
• Self-motivated with a collaborative mindset.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; data analytics tools a plus.
• Strong command of English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
• Willingness to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Analyse historical and current trading performance and identify key trends.
• Identify liabilities and risks affecting valuation and transaction negotiations.
• Review financial information and lead discussions with target management on follow-up information requests.
• Prepare due diligence reports highlighting findings and their implications for valuation and SPA negotiations.
• Prepare deal materials to support sell-side projects.
• Collaborate with internal workstreams for coordinated advice.
• Support the team on other consulting and special projects.
