Job summary

HTK is seeking a hands-on E&M facilities technician to support building services systems, ensuring reliable operation and proactive maintenance. The role includes supervising contractors, conducting inspections, and reporting issues to senior staff.

The ideal candidate holds a Building Services or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering-related qualification with 3+ years of practical E&M experience, and is familiar with local codes.

Qualifications

• Certificate or above in Building Services / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering with minimum 3 years of practical experience in repairs, maintenance, and installation of E&M facilities or Building Maintenance.
• Familiar with the relevant local regulations and code of practice.
• Good knowledge of standby generator, UPS, chiller systems, etc.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support on various building services systems, including maintaining and improving functionality, performance, and reliability.
• Supervision of contractors’ work.
• Perform inspections and reporting system issues.
• Assist superiors in handling all matters related to E&M infrastructure.
• Responsible for providing 7 x 24 emergency call out according to roster.

Your Role

• Provide technical support on various building services systems, including maintaining and improving the functionality, performance, and reliability of the systems as well as monitoring building services systems in terms of installation, operations, and maintenance
• Supervision of contractors’ work
• Perform inspections and reporting system issues
• Assist superiors in handling all matters related to E&M infrastructure
• Responsible for providing 7 x 24 emergency call out according to roster

To Succeed in the Role

• Certificate or above in Building Services / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or related discipline with minimum 3 years of practical experience in repairs, maintenance, and installation of E&M facilities or Building Maintenance
• Familiar with the relevant local regulations and code of practice
• Good technical knowledge of various E&M systems, especially standby generator system, UPS, chiller system, etc.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with good command of English and Chinese
• Holder of Construction Industry Safety Training Certificate (Green Card)
• Holder of Registered Electrical Worker certificate of Grade A or above is an advantage
• Holder of HK driving license (1) and (2) is preferable
