Job summary

Leadingnation is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer in Hong Kong to take a leadership role in review and approval of structural drawings and submissions, ensuring design integrity. You will coordinate design, calculations, material prep, fabrication, and construction supervision while monitoring site execution for compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Excellent English and Chinese communication required.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in structural engineering with main contractors.
• Strong knowledge of design and construction processes.
• HKIE accreditation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead review and approval of structural drawings, calculations, and submissions.
• Coordinate all engineering activities across design, calculations, material prep, fabrication, and construction supervision.
• Monitor site execution for compliance with statutory and safety standards.
• Identify and resolve complex structural issues on site to avoid delays.
• Inspect subcontractors' technical work for quality and compliance.
• Liaise with consultants, contractors, authorities and stakeholders to deliver on time and budget.
• Lead structural tender processes, evaluate proposals, review terms, oversee budget.

Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
