Job summary

Gough Recruitment (Hong Kong) is seeking high-caliber Engineers, Senior Engineers, or Assistant Project Manager to join our dynamic project execution team on prestigious building construction projects in Hong Kong. You will take ownership of site operations, coordinate structural and architectural aspects, and help drive program management.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 3+ years of work experience with a main contractor.

We are seeking high-caliber Engineers, Senior Engineers, or Assistant Project Manager (APM) to join the dynamic project execution team. The successful candidates will play a critical role in managing and delivering prestigious building construction projects in Hong Kong, taking ownership of site operations, technical coordination, and program management.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily site operations, structural and architectural coordination, and construction sequencing.

Liaise directly with client representatives, consultants, subcontractors, and government authorities.

Manage technical submissions, shop drawing approvals, and value engineering, particularly for Design & Build projects.

Monitor project milestones, cost management, contract administration, and site safety compliance.

Prepare progress reports and resolve site issues to ensure project delivery within schedule and budget.

Lead project sub-teams, manage contractual variations, and resolve complex engineering challenges.

Requirements

Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Building Construction, or a related discipline.

Minimum 3+ years of work experience with a main contractor.

Proven track record in ASD, HKHA/HKHS, or Design & Build projects.

Strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and familiarity with local statutory requirements.

Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese).
