Job summary

China State Construction Engineering (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to conduct structural analysis, develop design calculations and drawings, and support project management in Hong Kong or Singapore. The role requires coordination across trades and preparation of authority submissions, with BIM experience preferred.

Candidates should have 8+ years of relevant experience, a Civil/Structural Engineering degree, and may benefit from professional registration.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; professional registration is an advantage.
• 8+ years of relevant structural design and/or project management experience (consultant, design institute, or contractor background accepted).
• Familiarity with either Singapore or Hong Kong structural codes and construction practices.
• Good understanding of concrete and steel structure design principles.
• Good command of written and spoken English; proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.
• BIM experience and knowledge are preferred.
• Prior experience in public sector building projects and/or hospitals and healthcare facilities will be considered a strong advantage.

Coordinate with other trades to resolve structural issues.

Assist in preparing authority submission packages and responding to review comments.

Support temporary works design review and site technical queries.

Requirements:

Familiarity with either Singapore or Hong Kong structural codes and construction practices.

Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; professional registration is an advantage.
