Job summary

China State Construction Engineering (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking a professional to supervise on-site civil, structural and geotechnical works in Hong Kong. You will monitor site conditions, inspect works, and ensure compliance with ITAP requirements and quality plans.

The role requires a Bachelor in Civil/Structural Engineering, a Registered Professional Engineer credential, and at least five years of post-qualification experience. Attractive remuneration is offered for suitable candidates.

The Company engages in building construction and civil engineering works. China State Hong Kong is among the largest construction contractors in Hong Kong, and is approved by the Works Bureau, to be on the List of Approved Contractors (Group C) for Public Works in the five major categories of building and civil engineering works, namely, “Buildings”, “Port Works”, “Roads and Drainage”, “Site Formation” and “Waterworks”.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate on-site structural, civil and geotechnical construction works.
• Monitor site settlement, tilt and vibration monitoring stations regularly.
• Inspect temporary works and off-site prefabrication components, and conduct spot checks on high-risk construction activities.
• Ensure full compliance with ITAP requirements and project quality plans.
• Prepare monthly construction progress reports and conduct overall site quality control.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
• Possess valid Registered Professional Engineer (Civil / Structural) qualification
• Minimum 5 years of post-qualification working experience in construction supervision and site coordination.
• Candidates without qualification or with less experience will be considered as Assistant Resident Structural Engineer
