Job summary

Qualifications

• Master or Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Sociology, or related field.
• At least 8 years’ experience in statistics-related work.
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Proficient in MS Office applications and ERP system.
• Good interpersonal skills and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead, oversee and coordinate statistical and data science projects undertaken by The Chinese Medicine Hospital of Hong Kong, including the review and integration of project deliverables.
• Design, develop, implement data science systems including statistical methodologies, analytical frameworks, and data science solutions to support organisational objectives.
• Undertake statistical analyses, data science studies and research on key statistical and data science issues, as well as other strategically important areas, and communicate the methodologies, findings and insights effectively to stakeholders.
• Provide expert advice and analytical support to data users, facilitating the effective interpretation and application of data for policy development, service planning, governance, operational decision making and research initiatives; and
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
